A couple of fucking bangers with some varied influences from everything from Dangerhouse Records bands to sludgy 'Slip It In' Black Flag to Goodbye Boozy Records smeary garage slop and what I'll call punk rock Tad. Can't wait for the debut LP. I can't tell if the singer is a British ex-pat living in Atlanta, or just unconsciously sings like a punk rock Mark E. Smith, but that's what I hear
Upchuck is a five piece band from Atlanta, formed from connections made in skateboarding, construction, and teenage delinquency. The band is made up of lead guitarist Mikey, Rhythm guitarist- Hoff, bassist- Armando, drummer- Chris, and vocalist- KT- who combined are inventively raucous and revolutionary.
The vocalist, demanding to be heard, exclaims to the listeners of her past, present, and future traumas, that’s not only hurt her but many others. Upchuck shakes the minds and bodies of those seeking a release. With lyricism to prove her intentions, songwriter KT screams of haunting tales of discrimination, ignorance, and life in a doomed generation. Only the wise and relentless will thrive in a revolutionized and radical world, and upchuck is sternly feeding the fuel for a new gen.

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
